The program is typically three months and follows a schedule of weekly themes related to supporting clients through personal goals, emotion regulation, and interpersonal skills.
Our sessions take place for 8.5 hours a week at our location in North Central Phoenix, AZ:
Monday 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Tuesday 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Thursday 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm
This is both group and individualized care. We have a daily virtual check-in, where we can monitor the child’s current emotional presentation, level of engagement, and concerns. Each client is also assigned an individual therapist, provides them with weekly check-in individual sessions and will schedule family sessions to offer personalized support.
Our IOP team of therapists are collaborative, passionate, and intentional. We meet weekly to discuss the needs of each unique IOP group, including the techniques we implement into the schedule and the members' progress to ensure we are all offering effective care.
We currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Family structure and support is a vital part of a adolescent's growth and healing.
On Tuesdays, parents participate from 5:00 - 6:30PM. We rotate every other week to host a parent’s group to offer skills related to the weekly theme and family group, where parents and teens are together.
* The schedule will change based on rotating curriculum events such as client admissions, discharge, life story or experiential events such as equine-therapy, park visits, hiking, etc.
Many of our creative modalities and values are emphasized in our IOP program including:
Art: Participating in at least 2 hours a week
Nature: Weekly walks and nature engagement
Animals: With our live-in bunny and canine visitors
Play: Games incorporate skills and connection among group members
Often we have teens who are hesitant or nervous to start, but once they make it to their first session, they are embraced by a welcoming, authentic, and participative group, and want to keep coming back.
Our goal is not only clinical excellence, but creating an environment that makes teens WANT to participate and keep coming back.
Rachael loves working with adolescents and their families in their healing journey. Rachael believes therapy works best when there is safety to be vulnerable enough to laugh and have fun as well as to share about the more difficult things in life.
Jason has the unique gift of relating to parents and families, while also relating to teens. With additional training in breath work and nature modalities, he helps our clients reconnect by slowing down and understanding themselves.
We offer our services in an intentionally home-like environment. We want you to feel comfortable - not clinical - when you’re here.
