WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The program is typically three months and follows a schedule of weekly themes related to supporting clients through personal goals, emotion regulation, and interpersonal skills.

What Makes Our IOP Program Different

Our IOP team of therapists are collaborative, passionate, and intentional. We meet weekly to discuss the needs of each unique IOP group, including the techniques we implement into the schedule and the members' progress to ensure we are all offering effective care.

We currently accept Aetna, BCBS, Cigna and Tricare.

Family Involvement

Family structure and support is a vital part of an adolescent's growth and healing.

On Tuesdays, parents participate from 5:00 - 6:30PM. We rotate every other week to host a parent’s group to offer skills related to the weekly theme and family group, where parents and teens are together.

Sample IOP Program Schedule

Sample weekly schedule for The Rosemary Tree's Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), detailing daily activities and group sessions for mental health treatment.

* The schedule will change based on rotating curriculum events such as client admissions, discharge, life story or experiential events such as equine-therapy, park visits, hiking, etc.

Many of our creative modalities and values are emphasized in our IOP program including:

  • Art: Participating in at least 2 hours a week

  • Nature: Weekly walks and nature engagement

  • Animals: With our live-in and visiting furry friends

  • Play: Games incorporate skills and connection among group members

Often we have teens who are hesitant or nervous to start, but once they make it to their first session, they are embraced by a welcoming, authentic, and participative group, and want to keep coming back.

Our goal is not only clinical excellence, but creating an environment that makes teens WANT to participate and keep coming back.

Yes! We are in-network Aetna, BCBS, and Tricare. Our IOP and PHP are in-network for Aetna, BCBS, Cigna and TriCare.
