Our Teen Intensive Outpatient Program was created both out of a need in the community and our love of working with adolescents and their families. Adolescents are on a journey towards understanding themselves and their place in the world- add challenges with mental health into the mix and it can feel like your family has been turned upside down.
Our philosophy is that your child exists in a larger system outside of themselves. Research and experience have shown long lasting change takes place when the entire family engages in healing.
If you're looking for the premiere adolescent mental health treatment in Phoenix, AZ you are in the right place. Our Adolescent IOP Program is one of the few in the state of Arizona that incorporates both clinically excellent care and individualized creative treatments designed to make the experience something your teen actually looks forward to.

If you can answer yes to any of the questions below, an outpatient program may be the right fit:
Is your teen expressing anxiety related to school, including both academics and peer relationships?
Has your teen had a hard time academically over the last year or more?
Has your child been withdrawn and not interested in friends or activities they once enjoyed?
Does your teen express hopelessness or sadness regularly?
Does your teen seem unmotivated and unfocused?
Is your child suffering from apathy and boredom?
Do you see signs that your teen might be abusing drugs or self-harming?
Is your child in weekly therapy, but it doesn’t seem to be making a difference?
At The Rosemary Tree, our program is uniquely designed to specifically address the challenges today's young people are facing. Our program ends the feelings of isolation by putting teens into group settings. Allowing them to build a sense of meaning and purpose in their interactions together.
We also focused extensively on incorporating the entire family unit, making the transition more seamless and providing every member of the family with the tools to make meaningful change.
We provide trauma-focused IOP for teens, adolescent anxiety treatment, teen depression treatment and support young people dealing with issues rooted in trauma or attachment wounds. Our specialized programs are designed for the challenges of adolescence, offering personalized care that blends clinical therapy with hands-on experiences, academic support, and life skills training.
This is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Each young person receives a tailored treatment plan to help them navigate this critical stage and thrive. Always firmly rooted in clinically exceptional, evidence-based care, we intentionally integrate creativity, play, exploration and activities tailored to each participant's growth.
New skills endure longer when we experience them. Our holistic program embraces kinesthetic learning, art, movement, creativity, and nature in order to bring about the greatest change. Our mental health therapy for teens in Phoenix is one of the most unique programs in the state of Arizona.
We believe family is central to lasting healing, so our approach focuses on the family as the solution, not the problem. By healing parent-child bonds and fostering authentic connections, teens in our programs build self-compassion, resilience, and healthier relationships with parents and peers.
While clinical excellence is always the backbone of everything we do, we’re also focused on making therapy a joyful experience that you look forward to. When we layer on creative modalities we give your family the freedom and flexibility to work together in ways the best serve the progress of your adolescent.
Wellness
Rachael loves working with adolescents and their families in their healing journey. Rachael believes therapy works best when there is safety to be vulnerable enough to laugh and have fun as well as to share about the more difficult things in life.
Jason has the unique gift of relating to parents and families, while also relating to teens. With additional training in breath work and nature modalities, he helps our clients reconnect by slowing down and understanding themselves.
We offer our services in an intentionally home-like environment. We want you to feel comfortable - not clinical - when you’re here.
