The Rosemary Tree

Overview

This position provides individual and group therapy services to adolescents in the residential treatment program at The Rosemary Tree. The clinical therapist maintains the values of the program (being present, vulnerability, play, and nature) while promoting clinical excellence in their work with adolescent clients.

Responsibilities

Provide creative, individualized, clinically excellent psychotherapy for adolescent clients and their families.

Engage in individual therapy sessions at least weekly for each client on the clinician’s caseload.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in service of care for the adolescent.

Maintain documentation in a timely manner in accordance with the requirements from the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health (AZBBHE)

Create and maintain individualized treatment plans for the adolescent client and their families

Maintain proper ethics, boundaries, and scope of practice in accordance with AZBBHE.

Provide crisis intervention services when appropriate to adolescent clients

Coordinate care with collaborating providers and community stakeholders outside of the program

Engage in communication with parents of individual clients as appropriate

Lead group therapy for adolescent clients in the program

Qualifications

Must have earned a master’s degree or higher in the field of psychology, social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy

Must hold an active, unrestricted license in the state of Arizona with no disciplinary action (LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LASAC, or LISAC)

Must be able to obtain a level one fingerprint clearance card

CPR certification is not required upon hire, but must be obtained within the first 30 days of hire

Prefer at least one year of working with adolescents in school, therapy, or other group settings

Flexibility to work evenings and some weekends

Overview

This position provides oversight, support, and therapeutic intervention to adolescent clients enrolled in residential treatment programming. Works on a multidisciplinary team and embodies The Rosemary Tree values of play, vulnerability, and nature connection.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field, or at least two years of experience working with adolescents, preferably in a behavioral health setting

Ability to read, write, and communicate in a professional and clear manner

Basic computer skills and ability to engage with use of an electronic health record

Able to engage effectively and respectfully with adolescents

Ability to work on a multidisciplinary team and take direction from clinical director as needed

Ability to obtain level one fingerprint clearance card

Must have a valid driver’s license

Current TB test

Responsibilities

Provides oversight to clients to ensure safety and therapeutic growth for all clients

Performs tasks related to client wellbeing including but not limited to: 

Welfare/room checks

Crisis intervention according to the Rosemary Tree policies and procedures for clients experiencing suicidal ideation, self-harm urges, or homicidal ideation

Assist in clinical intakes/assessments

Assist in urinalysis collection and breathalyzer testing in accordance with policies and procedures

Assist in medication self-administration in accordance with policies and procedures

Complete basic medical vitals (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc)

Assist in meal times with basic preparation (heating up pre-made food, cleaning dishes, etc)

Engage in creative, compassionate care in the form of therapeutic redirection, leading psychoeducation groups, and providing group and individual support ongoing for clients throughout their day

Communicate clearly with other staff members about client behavior, including both progress and concerning behaviors

Assist with transportation off site for recreation or therapeutic activities

Monitor and interact with clients during off site activities to maintain client safety and confidentiality

Obtain Level One fingerprint clearance card

Complete all required trainings for compliance provided by the Rosemary Tree

Overview

This position provides support to the Chief Operating Officer in managing human resources and assisting with compliance. This position is also a hybrid role due to the nature of the start-up for the adolescent residential treatment center, and includes a variety of tasks needed by the organization in the present.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Create and implement new hire orientation

Create employee handbook

Manage all human resources/employee files for compliance

Coordinate new employee UDS, TB test, and fingerprinting

Implement contract with local facility for employee UDS/TB such as Concentra

Maintain employee resumes, education, and licenses in their employee file

Assist in maintaining compliance tasks in compliance software 

Assist in JCAHO accreditation process

Help create positive and caring work culture (tangible ways to implement values, employee wellness and support, etc)

Admissions coordinator assistance as needed

Starting out, two shifts per week of taking incoming admissions calls, then as needed for coverage

One shift per week at the residential treatment center in the care coordinator position

Contract and coordinate food service program for the residential treatment center

Obtain Level One fingerprint clearance card

Complete all required training for compliance provided by the Rosemary Tree
